About Salman
Calgary based DJ/Producer Salman Saeed has been building a name for himself in the electronic music community.
Born & raised in one of the most cosmopolitant cities in the gulf — Dubai, Salman was exposed to vast musical genres as a child that helped him develop his unique taste for music. Furthermore his relocation to Canada to develop 
as a professional engineer surprisingly also paved the way for what is now taking the country’s dance-clubs by storm.
Road to success
In 2007, he was ranked the 11th best upcoming International DJ by crystalclouds.com. Not only did this fuel his passion further but also later on in 2008 his monthly non-stop two hour radio show “Trance-Gendered” received massive support from radio stations across Europe. His productions speak for themselves. His magic on Delerium’s “Innocente”, Fausto’s “Lupara” and his EPIC mix of Carl B’s “Social Suicide” featuring the Late Pakistani Legend Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has given him the opportunity to not only build a world-wide supportive fan base but also a long list of acquaintances — mostly who happen to be International Top Ranking DJ’s & Producers. In addition, tracks like “Palestine” and “Falling into You” have also shown that Salman isn’t only limited to a specific genre as a producer.
Supporting Dance4Life
Salman also happens to be one of the first DJ’s in Canada to have had the privilage to be a part of the Dance4Life campaign which also harbours grand talents like Tiesto, Sander Van Doorn, Leon Bolier & Sied Van Riel to name a few. Salman’s sets aren’t only energetic and have the crowd jumping on its feet in a matter of seconds but are also packed with uplifting and melodic tunes that coerce you into losing yourself to your very own mirage of euphoria. This DJ has the ability to create dance-floor magic with his seamless mixes. It seems it has become a common trend for Canada to unleash talented musicians, this time in the Trance Scene. Well done!!
